This is a fantastic tool to improve your colour workflow. The passport is a portable set of colour charts that you use to create both a custom white balance of the current scene you are shooting and a camera calibration for Adobe Lightroom.
The purchase price includes:
- Colour checker
- Gray card
- Skin balance set
- passport case to hold it
- Mac and Win software to work with Lightroom, Photoshop, and any RAW editor with click white balance features.
It does involve making a new shot of the passport when you change your shot or the lighting, but it will speed up post processing and give you a better baseline to process your files. It will also enable you to engage our 30cent image correction cost once you process your RAWs to jpeg using this process and get the best colour result possible.
