Photo covers for lay flat albums
We have two options for putting a photo on the cover of your album. Part Photo Covers, see right and Inset Covers, see left.
Part Photo Cover
We print a Master Fine Art print and it is then covered in a washed silk textured laminate to protect the print surface. People fall in love with the feel of the laminate! You don’t have to worry about templates, just drag and drop in our Roes ordering software.
Inset Cover
These covers are the best of both worlds. The print is a Matte Art print and looks contemporary or traditional depending on the image you add. We have a wide range of shapes and sizes you can just drag and drop in our Roes ordering software.
Debossing
The deep impression you know and love. We have a fixed price for this to save you having to do any confusing maths.
Choose from any of our amazing range of foils, from incredible fluro matte finish through to the classic gold. You want it, we have it or can find it.
Engraving
Our engraving offers incredible details at a low cost regardless of size. We can also do a bleed version where your design can bleed off the edge of your book and wrap around it.
Each material engraves differently so be sure to check before ordering so you know you’ll be happy with the finish.
Album cover materials
We have so many album cover material options! We have divided them into Coated and Uncoated, this is just referring to how the finish feels. Linen is Uncoated, something like Faux Leather is Coated.
Uncoated
These materials are made of various fabrics that are in their natural state, so no additional coating, they feel lovely and natural and soft.

Coated
These materials are made of various materials that are either then coated in a protective layer or the entire material is made out of a kind of nylon or other material. This makes them sturdy and often quite thick. They are often sturdier than the uncoated range.
Faux Smooth Leather
A soft-touch, slightly padded synthetic cover material with a clean ultra matte grain free finish. If you are looking for a blind debossed effect, these materials are ideal for using Engraving instead of debossing and a much lower price point.

A soft-touch, slightly padded synthetic cover material with a natural grain finish.

This is pure leather hide, crafted in beautiful New Zealand these hides are unique and show natural colour variation and grain.
