From Kids to Seniors

What a week! Tuesday I was working with 6 year olds and Thursday night it was 60 year olds.

Each year we support the SA Health’s Seniors Card photographic competition and exhibition, Through the Lens. (https://www.seniorscard.sa.gov.au/benefits/through-the-lens).

We host the judging here at the lab and I get to chair the judging and get a bit judgemental…we have over 600 images to rank, it’s a big job. The other judges were Penny from the Seniors Card team and Lance from Diamonds Photographics.

The exhibition launch and prize awarding was held at the City Library of the Rundle Mall. It was supported by the local member for parliament and an officer from the minister for aging, plus the first Commissioner for the Aging who established the Seniors Card Program!

This was their 30th year in operation, so it was a bit of a blast! The exhibition is open until October 31st at the City Library.
