The SAPF celebrates 60 years

Thursday night I attended the South Australian Photographic Federation’s 60th Annual Exhibition.

It was quite the GALA night at the Kooyong Golf Course, and while it was a long evening, it was fascinating. The guest speaker Greg Newington (https://www.newingtonphotography.com), is a first rate photojournalist who has covered just about everything you can imagine that happened in the world in the past 30+ years.

The rest of the evening was filled with dispensing prizes and seeing the excellent work of SA’s camera clubs.

We were sponsors of the event, and I sit on the Mullins Fund Committee, which operates as a trust fund for the SAPF, established through a gift from the Mullins Family.

I really enjoy my relationship with the Federation, their love of photography is second to none.
