What is the difference between the album types?

You can choose between 3 different print technologies for you albums, along with a range of customisable options.

 

Long

We have three main print technologies, no it’s not just about different papers. They all have their pros and cons. Almost all album options can be used with any paper type.

 

Album Print Tech

Master Fine Art

A pigment ink technology, printed on the finest of cotton paper and carefully bound together by hand. You cannot get a higher quality print all bound into an album.

Matte Art

This print tech is dye based on a matte art paper. The lovely all rounder. Beautiful paper and print finish tougher than Master Fine Art but narrower colour gamut.

Traditional Photo

Traditional Silver halide print technology, printed using light on wet process lustre paper. Hardy and ready to go anywhere, the sheen of the paper is the classic we all know and love.
